The contacts are fully gold-plated, reducing wear and tear from continuous use and enhancing connector durability.
To strengthen connections, each connector comes with quick-mating screw fixings. The stainless steel mate-before-lock thumbscrews secure steadily to boards and other mating cables. Each male and female contact is individually shrouded and recommended to be used with UL-rated silicon 8AWG wire.
