Overview

The ALVEOPRO – M100 is a compact, professional-grade fume extractor designed for 3D printing environments. It features a HEPA 14 filter with 99.92% efficiency for particles ranging from 10 to 200 nm, combined with optimized activated carbon to capture VOCs emitted during FDM or SLA printing. Designed for universal compatibility, it integrates with most 3D printers or enclosures using a flexible suction hose and adapter plates for 120mm and 90mm axial fans. The unit supports adjustable airflow from 10 to 80 m³/h, enabling coverage for up to four nozzles. Key features include a 2.8” LCD, PWM fan control, filter life monitoring, USB-based firmware updates, and real-time safety alerts. The system measures 200x200x225 mm and weighs 9 kg, with a filter lifespan of over 1500 hours. Its aluminum build and low-noise operation (40–60 dB) make it suitable for industrial and desktop setups requiring safe, continuous air purification.

Features of ALVEOPRO – M100

Filtration System

The ALVEOPRO – M100 incorporates a dual-stage filtration system designed for 3D printer emissions.

It utilizes a HEPA 14 filter, constructed from pleated fiberglass, which achieves a tested efficiency of 99.92% for nanoparticles ranging from 10 to 200 nm, specifically those emitted during Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) with ABS filament. Complementing the HEPA filter is an activated carbon blend, optimized for capturing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) produced by various 3D printing filaments and resins, including FDM and Stereolithography (SLA). The M100 filter is specified with a lifetime of over 1500+ hours.

Airflow Management

The unit features a suction system with an adjustable airflow range of 10 to 80 m³/h.

This variable airflow allows adaptation to different printing volumes and the number of active nozzles, supporting up to four single-nozzle 3D printers or a single printer with up to four nozzles simultaneously. The system draws air from the top through an 80mm diameter inlet and expels it from the back. An expandable suction hose (0.8m to 3m) and connection plates for 120mm and 90mm axial fans are included for interface with various printer setups.

Electronic Features and Monitoring

The embedded electronic system is managed through a 2.8” LCD display, offering control over features such as PWM fan speed, timers, and filter saturation monitoring.

A differential pressure sensor monitors filter status, issuing alerts if clogging or component failure is detected. Users can reset the filter life counter after replacements and perform firmware updates via USB to access new features or improve performance. The system also includes a standby mode and customizable settings based on print environment and nozzle configuration.

Safety and Usability Functions

The M100 is equipped with error detection protocols, including visual and audible warnings in case of airflow irregularities or filtration failures.

Safety functions ensure the system can operate continuously without compromising air quality. The air inlet diameter of 80 mm, top suction design, and rear air outlet help maintain efficient airflow dynamics. Additionally, anti-vibration pads and a low noise level (40–60 dB) contribute to a stable and less intrusive operation in professional environments.

Physical Characteristics and Compatibility

The ALVEOPRO – M100 has dimensions of 200mm x 200mm x 225mm and weighs 9 kg (excluding the filter, which weighs 1.2 kg).

The aluminum housing provides structural durability, and the device includes a semi-rigid expandable hose (0.8 to 3 m) for direct enclosure or printer mounting. The package includes the main unit, a 24V wall-mounted power supply, connection plates, the M100 filter, a USB cable, a 2.5mm hex key, and anti-vibration pads.

Applications

The ALVEOPRO – M100 finds application in environments utilizing additive manufacturing technologies, specifically those employing material extrusion (FDM) and photopolymerization (SLA/DLP) processes. Its primary function is the mitigation of airborne particulate matter and gaseous emissions generated during these processes. The adjustable airflow allows for integration with various 3D printer sizes and configurations, including enclosed and open-frame systems, and can accommodate setups with multiple extruders.
