Overview

The Qorvo QPG6200LDK-01 IoT Development Kit accelerates product development using Matter (over Thread), Zigbee, and Bluetooth® Low Energy wireless protocols. It leverages the highly reliable QPG6200L multi-standard SoC with industry-leading energy efficiency, optimized security, and strong RF performance via ConcurrentConnect™ technology. This technology enables simultaneous multi-protocol operation, enhancing capacity and reducing latency for low-power wireless applications.

The kit includes certified communication stacks, turnkey reference applications, essential development tools, and is PSA Certified Level-2 for IoT security with an integrated secure element. It’s suited for applications like connected lighting, smart sensors, wearables, and gateways, offering a comprehensive, secure, and efficient platform for advanced IoT product development.

Versatile IoT Prototyping Solutions with Standard Technologies

The Qorvo QPG6200L offers a complete solution for developing multi-standard IoT products that support Matter™, Thread, Zigbee, and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols. It’s built on Qorvo’s ConcurrentConnect™ technology, which enables seamless and simultaneous operation of multiple wireless standards. Hence, it allows applications to run Zigbee and Matter over Thread concurrently without trade-offs in latency or link performance. The multi-channel capability supports up to three IEEE 802.15.4 networks at once, broadening connectivity options and enhancing network efficiency.

Additionally, the QPG6200L incorporates antenna diversity, which effectively doubles the wireless range by dynamically selecting the strongest signal path, improving interference robustness. Its multi-radio design allows concurrent Bluetooth Low Energy scanning alongside Matter communication, ensuring no blind spots in wireless reception. This combination of advanced RF features and protocol concurrency makes the QPG6200L ideal for connected lighting, smart sensors, wearables, and gateways, delivering robust, efficient, and reliable IoT connectivity.

Certified Communication Stacks for Accelerated Time to Market

The Qorvo QPG6200L solution accelerates time to market by providing certified communication stacks and a rich set of reference applications, simplifying the development process of Matter™, Zigbee, and Bluetooth Low Energy-based products. It offers a unified and free-to-use build environment, which supports all three wireless protocols. Therefore, it delivers a streamlined development experience that reduces complexity and shortens product launch cycles. Moreover, verified interoperability with other Matter devices and infrastructure ensures reliable connectivity and seamless integration within existing smart ecosystems, giving developers confidence in compatibility and performance.

As a result, the QPG6200L becomes an ideal platform for a wide range of IoT applications, including:

  • Connected lighting systems that require robust multi-standard wireless communication.

  • Smart sensors benefit from the solution's efficient protocol concurrency, enabling real-time data exchange and low power consumption.
