Tremelo is developed by Five Microns utilizing proven vibration control technology called "tuned mass damper". This technology has been popularly used to stabilize skyscrapers, aircraft wings and bridges. Tremelo is the first product of its kind that can apply this technology effectively on human.
Tremelo uses Tuned Mass Damper technology to mechanically stabilize tremors. Tremelo has been shown to safely reduce arm shaking and improve fine motor skills for people with hand tremors. Simply, the wearable sleeve uses a built-in small mass that shakes back and forth against the tremor motion. Tremelo uses the principle of energy absorption — normally found to steady planes, bridges and tall buildings — to counteract the shaking in hands.
Since Tremelo does not deliver electric shocks, it is safe and easy to use. Tremelo requires no batteries, slips on like a glove, and weighs less than a pound.
