What we do

Shadow applied robotics technology to solve real-world problems for people. We're best known for designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art anthropomorphic robot hands. We have a wealth of experience in the design, development and production of robots, though, so in between designing and fabricating our latest products, we help our clients solve difficult problems through new robotic systems. In 2024 we've unveiled our new robot hand, DEX-EE, developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind. DEX-EE is an ideal hardware platform for dexterous manipulation research. Delivering dynamic and controlled motion in a robust and reliable package, enabling long-running experiments without interruptions due to hardware failure.
