An anthropomorphic 5-finger hand which grips nearly as perfectly as the human hand. Due to the moving parts with a total of nine drives, various gripping operations can be executed with high sensitivity. The electronics are completely integrated in the wrist.
By using tactile sensors in the fingers, the gripper hand has the necessary sensitivity and can therefore manage every gripping and manipulation task, even in unstructured and unforeseeable situations. Elastic gripping surfaces ensure a reliable hold of the gripped objects.
The 5-finger gripping hand SVH is a servo-electric gripping module with integrated control and regulation electronics. The 5-finger gripping hand was designed to be attached to astandard LWA 4P or LWA 4D lightweight arm. The hand is available in two designs, corre-sponding to the right and left human hands. The dimensions andoperating data are identical for both designs.
A slip-resistant, elastic gripping surface on the fingers and thumbs allow objects to be gripped securely. A total of 9 drive motors control the movements of the 5-fingergripping hand's fingers and thumb.
