About

I write stories about MIT-based research, and researchers, for two publications: MIT News and Technology Review. My pieces cover a broad range of disciplines, including the social sciences, humanities, and business; drawing on my pre-MIT work, many of my stories involve the history of science and science policy. I write profiles, cover events, conduct Q&As with faculty and other figures, and generate story ideas. As a contributor to Technology Review, I often write longer features and profiles.
