Dr Occhipinti joined the University of Cambridge in 2014. He is currently Director of Research and Principal Investigator at the Engineering Department and, since the 1st Feb 2018, Deputy Director and COO of the Cambridge Graphene Centre. He is also CEO and Director of Engineering at Cambridge Innovation Technologies Consulting Limited (www.citc-ltd.co.uk), a Cambridge-based start-up developing research and innovation in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, Director of Horizon Cambridge Ltd, a technology transfer consulting firm, and Non-Exec Director of Zinergy UK, another Cambridge-based start-up manufacturing printed energy storage devices.
