As executive director of strategic initiatives at Washington University in St. Louis, I get to make sure everyone on campus—and beyond—is in the know about some of the university’s most important priorities. From sustainability to global outreach, to entrepreneurship plus diversity and inclusiveness, it’s my privilege to help tell the stories that truly set WashU apart. Communication done well has always been my career focus: prior to arriving here in 2015, I served as the publicist for the St. Louis Symphony. Before that, I was a television newscast producer in markets including Richmond, Baton Rouge, Denver and ultimately St. Louis. When I’m not on campus, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband and son, running laps around Tower Grove Park or plotting my next travel adventure.
