Derek G. Kamper (M’97) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, USA, in 1989, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 1992 and 1997, respectively.,He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA.
