Daniel Ackerman is a science writer and environmental journalist, covering the intersection of science and society. His radio stories have aired on National Public Radio, Marketplace, Minnesota Public Radio and WGBH News, while his writing appears in National Geographic, The Washington Post and Scientific American, among others. He’s currently producing a podcast for American Public Media about our country’s aging water infrastructure. He holds a PhD in ecology from the University of Minnesota.
