Designer, programmer and a maker at heart with a healthy disregard for the impossible. I love technology, books, sometimes people. Slightly elaborate, impatient, hyperactive; although I think these are good qualities most of the time. There is a perpetual battle between the meticulous and the fast; most times I prefer fast. I have completed a Masters in Interaction Design(HCI) from the Industrial Design Centre at IIT Bombay and am currently working with the Artificial Intelligence and Research group at Microsoft R&D.

Possibly the first voice activated machine was a 2$ toy called Radio Rex produced in 1920s. It was a spring activated dog that popped out of a little kennel whenever it detected a sound in the 500 Hz range.
