In the age of IIoT and Industry 4.0, single-pair Ethernet helps to transmit data faster and farther through a single pair of twisted wires. See 10BASE-T1L single-pair Ethernet PHY demonstrate data transmission over 1000 m of cable to a remote location, replicating a field sensor in a building or factory automation environment.

The DP83TD510E 10BASE-T1L single-pair Ethernet PHY makes long-distance 10-Mbps Ethernet networking a reality by enabling cable reach up to 1.7 km. It eliminates the need for additional network gateways between controller and field nodes since the network can use a single Ethernet-based communication network through single-pair Ethernet.

This device is also designed for use in intrinsically safe Ethernet advanced physical layer systems and offers ultra-low power consumption of 45 mW to help meet stringent system power budgets.
