Norbert Staub
About
Norbert Staub studied history and German studies at the University of Zurich. He then worked as a scientific assistant in the Department of Modern German Literature and did his doctorate. Lectureships at high schools were followed by freelance work as an author for various Zurich newspapers and a radio station. He later worked as a background and media editor for the St. Galler Tagblatt. In 2001 he switched to university communications at ETH Zurich, where he was responsible for the then new online news platform ETH Life and the in-house newspaper ETH Life Print. In 2006 he took on the newly created role of issue manager, and from November 2011 to summer 2016 he headed the internal communication team. Since September 2016, Norbert Staub has been deputy head of university communications and head of the Institutional and Issues department in the theme team.
