It offers up to 60 contacts per port, each having a 0.6 mm pitch. There are eight high-speed channels and it offers an optimized footprint to ensure low crosstalk.&nbsp;Moreover, it features carbon-fiber-reinforced material for ground commoning to dampen resonance. The module also offers heat management features and is ideal for networking applications and devices including switches, hubs, servers, and cellular infrastructure devices.&nbsp;<h2>Enables High-Speed Transmission using Multiple Transmission Modes</h2>The Amphenol Commercial OSFP Interconnect System provides a flexible communication platform featuring two distinct data transmission methods. These methods are designed to facilitate high-speed communication making them ideal for networking and cellular connectivity applications. The interconnect system supports two encoding techniques:<ul><li>PAM4 -Pulse Amplitude Modulation - Quadruple</li><li>NRZ - No Return Zero&nbsp;</li></ul>The PAM4 system supports the transmission for up to 56 Gb/s per channel. The system uses four-level pulse amplitude modulation to facilitate high-speed computing and next-gen networking applications that involve up to 112Gb/s per channel transmission speeds.The NRZ encoding transmission supports up to 25Gb/s per channel. This technique is used to maintain a constant voltage level during the bit period.
